MARIA and Karl

Maria was born July 8, 1868 in Jemnshög, Rolsmo Södergård, Linneryd parish. Father Johan was listed as a crofter and the mother was 34 years old when Maria was born. In January 1883 Maria takes the certificate to get the Lords Holy Communion. She got so in June 1883 in Ljuder. Became a maid in 1885 on a farm in Wirsryd. Went back home again 1886. She gets certificate of change of address on March 31, 1887 for moving to Wirestad but was not moving.

On June 16, 1890, she moved to Kråksjö in Ljuder parish and got married July 30, 1890 with Karl Gustaf Augustsson, born March 29, 1865 on Wästergården in Kråksjö, Ljuder parish. Karl was the brother of Emma Serafia, who later got married to Maria's brother Johannes.

Maria died November 19, 1946 in Åkerby, Ljuder parish and Carl May 19, 1947 at the same place.
